Ich weiß, ich bin etwas spät dran. Aber ich wünsche Euch allen noch ein frohes neues Jahr und hoffe, Ihr seit alle gut rein gekommen.
Wir sind sehr gut ins neues Jahr gekommen, auch wenn wir es fast verschlafen hätten :)
Wir verbrachten Silvester in Feichten im Kaunatal / Östrreich. Es ist ein wircklich schönes Tal und wir hatten super viel Schnee.

Und nun etwas Werbung in eigener Sache ;)

I know, I´m a little bit late but I wish you all a happy new year.
I´m so late because we were in holidays in Feichten/Kaunatal/Austria.
Our Sylvester was very nice but quiet. So quite that we nearly over slept it :)
We had a lot of snow and it was a lot of fun to ski a bit.

You know how it is before christmas. There are so many things to do and so many things to think about.

For me christmas has to sides.
The one side is the gliddering and sparking side. With all the beautyfull lights on the trees and houses. The decoration everywhere.
The other side means stress to get all the presents for the people you like and love and it is the time of thinking. Thinking about the past year, the familiy and the future. But this year I have to say, that I came to the conclution that 2008 was a very good year with a lot of pleasure and I´m very pleased about that.
I´m very thankfull to have such a great family!!!

Heute hat der Tag mit einer echten Überraschung angefangen.
Ich habe habe eine Mail von Alice bekommen. In der stand, "Du hast gewonnen".
Das hat mich wirklich überrascht, denn ich habe noch nie etwas gewonnen bei einer Giveawayaktion.
So nun möchte ich Euch nicht vorenthalten was ich denn gewonnen habe.
Es ist ein wunderschöne gefilzte Blumenbrosche aus Merinowolle und Seide.

Today hat staarted with a birg suprise. I have got a mail vrom Alice which says,"You have won"
I was really suprised, because I have never one a giveaway.
Now I want to show you waht I have won. It is a felt corsage made of merino wooll and silk.

So, here it is / So, hier ist es

Now it is nearly finished. Just a few little things have to be tried our while we are working.
Tomorrow is the VIP opening of the motorcicle centre. Th think it will be a great evening with all the helpers, friends and all the others.
Yesterday have taken some fotos of the finished shop for you.
It is a very nice contrast to the other shop, which is more technical and cold styled. And here you can just sit down, take a rest and chat whlie tinken a coffe or tea. I have made some yumy cookies for our customers I hope they like them :)

Nun ist unser Shop fast fertig. Es fehlen nur noch so ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die sich aber erst behoben werden können wenn wir richtig arbeiten.
Morgen ist in dem Motorradzubehörshop die große VIP Eröffnung mit allen Helfern, Freunden und all den Anderen die so fleißig geholfen haben das Projekt Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen.
Unser Shop ist ein schöner Kontrast zu dem Motorradzubehörshop, der ja eher technisch kühl geahlten ist. Bei uns ist es so gemütlich, dass man sich eine mal hinsetzten und bei der Tasse Kaffee oder Tee ausruhen kann. Ich habe auch ein paar Plätzchen gebacken. ich hoffe, sie schmecken unseren Kundinnen :)


And that, as you can see, is me. Not a very pretty foto of me. But not the worthest ;) I´m very happy with our new shop and it has turned our realy good.

Und das bin ich, wie Ihr sehen könnt. Das ist nicht gerade das beste Foto von mir. Aber auch nicht das schlechteste ;). ich bin sehr froh über unseren neuen Shop er ist wirklich toll geworden.


A very lovely nicolas day to all of you right now.
Because I´m sure there won´t be much time für posting the next few days. On Saturady is also the big opening of the motorcycling shop for everybody and at the evening I´m gining to have a Niclas dinner with my familie. I´m sure it will be as great as every year.

Ich wünsche Euch allen schon jetzt einen schöne Nikolaus. Denn ich werde die nächsten Tage eher nicht zum schreiben kommen. Da wir am Samstag die große Eröffnung des Motorradzubehörshop haben. Und Abends ist Nikolausessen mit meiner Familie angesagt. Das wird bestimmt wieder schön (wie jedes Jahr).

Fertig / finished

....wir sind fertig. Im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes!
Wir haben das ganze Wochenende gräumt und dekoriert. Nun sieht es bei uns endlich wieder nach Patchwork- und Stickgeschäft aus und wie ich finde ist es sehr gemütlich geworden. Klar, es gibt immer noch das ein oder ander zu tun. Man muss ja erst wieder zu seiner Routine finden und dann stell sich auch erst raus wo man manche Sachen einfach am praktichsten aufbewahrt.
Hier nun noch ein paar kleine Einblicke.

Our new home :) / Unser neues Zuhause :)

Ich habe Euch ja schon öfter davon berichtet, dass wir umgezogen sind mit unserem Geschäft und dass immer noch das reinste Kaos herrscht. Und da ich so viel darüber gesprochen habe, habe ich mir gedacht, wirde es auch mal Zeit Euch ein paar Bilder von den kaotischen Zuständen bei uns zu zeigen ;)
Aber ich finde so langsam kann man erkennen was und wie es sein soll.

I have you already reported more often that we have moved our business and that is still the purest chaos. And since I've talked about it so much I thought, it´s time to show you somme fotos of the chaos conditions. ;)
But I think you can see what and how it should be.


Ja, so sah es gestern Abend aus als ich nach der Arbeit in unseren Laden gekommen bin. Es waren nun zwar fast alle Scheiben in unseren Wänden (zwei kleine fehlern immer noch) und diese waren auch mit Silikon befestigt. Doch leider hatten die Handwerker ganz schön mit dem Zeug rumgesaut (entschuldigt bitten den Ausdruck ;) )

Yes, thats how it looked like when I came to our shop yesterday evening. There were now almost all the windows in our walls (two small windows are still missing) and they were attached with silicone. But unfortunately, the craftsmen had worked very dirty.


und somit mussten wir alle Fenster mehrfach putzen. Auf dem Foto sieht man toll die Nasen auf der Scheibe vom einsetzten des Silikons. Ich kann Euch sagen, die sind ganz schön groß (Ihr könnte die Scheiben im Hintergrund auf den Fotos sehen)! Uns haben danach die Arme echt weh getan. Doch zum Glück hat der Azubi von meiner Partnerin freiwillig mitgeholfen, obwohl Er eigentlich schon Feierabend hatte.
Nach dem wir die Fenster entlich einigermaßen sauber hatten (wir werden sie wohl oder übel noch 1-2 Mal puzten müssen) fing das große Rücken an. Von der einen Stellt zur nächsten und doch wieder zurück.
Mittlerweile kann man schon ganz gut erkennen wie es mal aussehen soll.

and therefore we had to clean all the windows on several occasions. On the foto you can see the dirt on the windows. I can tell you, they are quite large (you can see them at the background of the fotos)! Our armes have hurt a lot when we have finished the cleaning. But fortunately, the trainee from my partner helped ous even though he had actually already evening.
After the window we have finished cleaning (we will nead to repeat that maybe 1-2 times) we have started the big move over. We have put the stuff from the one side to the other and back again.
Meanwhile, you can very well see how it should look like times.

Wir haben zwar bis nächste Woche immer noch viel zu tun aber das wird schon. Am Freitag wird weiter umgeräumt und dann kommt entlich meine lieblings Disziplin :-) das Dekorieren!

Wir hoffe, unsere neue Insel gefällt Euch genauso gut wie uns.

Kreative Markt Teil 2 / creative market part 2

So, das Wochenende ist leider vorbei. Es hat so viel Spaß gemacht mit meiner Mutter zusammen den Stand auf der 38. Kreativ-, Kunst- und Hobby-Ausstellung zu machen.
Eine super liebe Freundin mit Ihrem Schmuckstand war auch wieder da. Von Ihr hatten wir den Tip für diesen Markt bekommen und ich muss sagen, es hat sich wirklich gelohnt :)

Aufjedenfall hatte Niki wieder super tollen Schmuck dabei und ich konnte mal wieder nicht wiederstehen und muss mir eine sehr süße Halskette mit Ohringen kaufen.

Sie hat nur etwas ausgefallenen handgemachten Schmuck von Designer aus Europa. Also echte Besonderheiten. Und "leider" (jednefalls für meinen Geldbeutel) habe ich den Geschmack meiner Mutter geerbt!

Es macht sehr viel Spaß für die Arbeit, Ideen und Gedanken die man so eine schöne Sache steckt Anerkennung (außerhalb der Familie) zu bekommen. Da merkt man dann, dass man doch auf dem richtigen weg ist. Es war auch toll zu hören, dass viele Besucher uns schon aus dem Internet, vom Bloggen oder aus Anzeigen in Zeischriften kannten.
Und es freud mich besonders wenn Leute unseren mit viel Liebe und Einsatz genähten Patchworksachen auch schätzen. Manche meiner Kreationen würde ich am liebsten selbst behalten, da sie mir selbst so gut gefallen. Aber das geht leider nicht immer :(
Einige unserer Kostbarkeiten kann ich aber tortzdem immer wieder sehen und mir vielleicht auch mal ausleihen ;) (Mama leiht mir bestimmt mal meine Hühnertaschen zum Shopping). Jup, meine Mama hat auch einiges gekauft.
Nun möchte ich Euch noch ein paar neue Sachen von meinem Stand zeigen. ich habe bis Freitag um 23:30 Uhr noch an den Herzen gesessen, denn mir ist mal wieder die Zeit nur so davon gelaufen.

So, unfortunately, the weekend is over. My mother adn I have had so much fun together on our stand of the 38th Creative, Arts and Crafts Exhibition.
A super dear friend with her jewelry booth was also there. It was her tip to go to this market and I must say it has really paid off :)
again Niki have had so beatiyful jewelry and I couldn´t resist to buy very sweet necklace with earingen for me. (see the pictures at the top)
She has only unusual handmade jewelry made by small designers from Europe. And "unfortunately" (for my wallet) I have inherited my mother's taste!

It makes a lot of fun to get recognition for your work, ideas and thoughts outside the family. so you can see that you are on the right way. And a lot of visitors have kown us before. They have seen our homepage, bog oder advertisment at some magazines.
And it makes me happy when people love our stuff. Some of my creations, I would prefer to keep myself, because I like them soooo much. But this is unfortunately not always possible : (
Some of our treasures I can always see yet or maybe borrow them ;) (I sure my mum will lend me my very special hen shopping beg to me sometimes). Jup, my Mom has also bought a lot.
Now I would like show you a few new things I have sewn last week. On Friday have I worked until 11:30 pm to finish these cute hearts.
